History
Released as a collectable phonecard set in 1995.

Back in the mid ’90s we didn’t have mobile phones and so if you wanted to call your friends and didn’t want your mum nagging you about phone bills, your best bet was to use a public payphone. BT (British Telecom) then introduced phonecards which had phone credit on them.
In 1995, BT released this collectable card set which would cost you £10 per card and there were 18 of them, making this something of an expensive endeavour!

You can pick up a lot of these on eBay and they certainly haven’t held their value. The extra card case might be a bit harder to find.
